Technical-scientific translation is the translation of sectoral texts from one language-culture to another.
The technical-scientific translator translates a wide range of texts, which differ in depth of content, popular register, specialized language or fusion with other scientific and humanistic disciplines and include product data sheets, technical manuals of description, assembly and setting at work, usage and maintenance manuals for motor vehicles, industrial machinery and medical equipment.
The technical-scientific translation also extends to scientific articles for popular weekly publications or specialized journals, monographic or multi-thematic volumes of medicine, research papers, educational and specialized materials produced by universities and research centers, as well as texts written by the scientific marketing departments of pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and cosmetic products companies, including complex manuals, information leaflets, labels and packaging.
